Water Polo Tryout — Terms & Conditions

1. Purpose of the Trial Session

The initial practice session is an introductory evaluation designed to assess the participant's safety, comfort level, and readiness for continued water polo training. Participation in the trial does not guarantee enrollment in the program.


2. Minimum Requirements

No jewelry, sharp objects, or loose clothing permitted in the pool.


4. Inherent Risks & Liability Waiver

By registering for this session, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges that water polo involves inherent physical risks, including but not limited to:

To the fullest extent permitted under Florida law, Swimnexar / Nexar Water Polo, its coaches, staff, and volunteers shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in this session, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.


5. Health & Medical Disclosure

Parents and guardians confirm that the participant has no undisclosed medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that would make participation unsafe. If a condition exists, it must be disclosed to the coach prior to entering the water.

Coaches and staff may remove a participant from the session immediately and without prior warning if the participant:

Parents or guardians may remain inside the facility to observe or wait outside/in their vehicle. All guardians must remain reachable by phone throughout the session and ensure prompt pick-up at the end of the session.


8. Media Consent

Swimnexar / Nexar Water Polo may photograph and video participants during sessions for use in social media, marketing, promotional materials, and internal training review. By registering, you grant Swimnexar the right to use such media without additional compensation or ongoing consent requirements. If you do not consent, please notify the coach in writing before the session begins.
